By request of one special client who loves "The Meninas"
2016, Las Meninas 3D:
I have created this interpretation in 3D to be a modern version of the famous painting from 1656.
Mixing many different materials, the perspective created is on one side a unique & curious representation of all the characters involved in the painting, and a totally opposite perform of the original by Velazquez. The colors and the textures mixed, are pretending to balance the darkness of the original. The rigidness of the Meninas represents the rules and norms in the royal girls always under strict control from their servants.
